PRINCIPLES
At Progressive Development Initiative (PDI) we place great importance on the security of your data and commit ourselves to protect the privacy and treat personal data of every person using our services as highly confidential.
You may visit our website without providing your personal details. We only save access data without any personal details. These details are solely assessed to improve our services and do not allow any conclusion on your person.
Personal data is only saved if you voluntarily agree to it during your visit to our website.
We employ technical and organizational measures in order to safeguard our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, changes or the distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. Notwithstanding our best efforts, complete data security and protection against all risks is not possible.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
PDI shall use the data we receive from you to evaluate and process your application; and/or to process your comments that we receive. Your data (CV and other introductory, motivational or application letters) shall only be transmitted to our clients (the employing organization) after having received your written consent that we may do so. 
Once PDI has completed a recruitment process your personal data will be deleted from our system unless we have obtained your written consent that your data may remain on our database. Any transmission to third parties thereafter may only take place after your renewed written consent. 
As a health and development technical assistance firm we engage in active sourcing. By doing pro-active research we identify potential candidates who might have an interest in the roles we are recruiting for. Through networking, but also via various organizational websites and portals, we find and obtain contact details of these potential candidates in order to contact them to see if they would be interested in available roles. Again, a transmission to third parties of personal data obtained only takes place after having received written consent. 
Transmission of your data to another third party or for marketing purposes shall not take place under any circumstances. 



​TRANSMISSION OF DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY
During a recruitment process it may be the case that we have to transmit your personal data to a third party country/organization whose data protections laws are significantly different than European Union. In those instances we will do our best to offer a similar protection of personal data shared with us; this includes any subsidiary organisations that may work for us. ​

COMMENTS ON POSTS
We shall only store personal data when a comment is posted and thus details have been given voluntarily. We shall use your data solely when publishing your comment without any separate consent from you. In doing so, your e-mail address shall not be published.
Only the information entered by the author of the comment shall be processed but no data shall be forwarded to any third party.

CONTACT FORM
You will have the possibility to leave your application data through our contact form as well as upload your résumé when this facility becomes available with us. All entry of data is/will explicitly (be) done on a voluntary basis. This personal data shall be treated confidentially and shall be used solely for its intended purpose according to the respective valid data protection provisions and shall not be forwarded to a third party outside our organization.
When using the PDI contact form to transmit your personal data, you have to give us your written consent, the options of which will be stipulated in the form. Unless legal requirements request a longer duration, a copy of this application and consent form will be kept for approximately 6 months after receiving it. If you wish to have this deleted sooner, please inform PDI.
